Last Friday Night

While fatty monkey is doing his part updating the playlist I think I better do mine too. Just a quick one. We headed over to WiP for drinks.

And they were talking bout their PS3 & SC2 blah.

Joanne meets Joanne again!

Thus far, WiP and 7ate9 are my favourite hang out places. Love the drinks, environment AND MUSIC!!! Especially WiP they played songs like High by Lighthouse Family. Classics I tell u. Same owner by the way.

Bet the conversation was something like

Eric : Bunny why u still wear like Alice today?

Me : Where got?! Its polka dots ok!

Eric : I think everything u wear also like Alice la.

Alcoholic

His freakin iPhone again I seriously get how his BB feel u know - NEGLECTED!

I seriously love the Martinis from WiP

Each-A-Cup Part II

So I brought Ryn to Each-A-Cup and she loves it!!! That girl so addicted until now she tell me she misses bubble tea. zzz.

Nah this time got photo of the logo took with damn canggih camera somemore!

Ada promotion sekarang buy 2 free 1.

But the free drink is just the standard tea. Not recommended - super sweet.

Whee bubble tea!!!

Oops. Ok this part abit sohai. I tak sabar sabar nak minum but she was taking photo.

Then I walked around greedily like this.

I guess if I bump into anyone they wouldn't be surprise also. FML. Not only fat fat calls me wai sek, even my colleagues also call me wai sek. Now that my wisdom tooth still hurts but I so damn long dint eat solid food I couldn't be very much bothered anymore.

I will just go, "Hmmm... yumm... OUCH! yummm yummm.. OUCH!"

Whoever eating with me will be dot dot dot or not so close ones pretend they din't hear me. HAHAHAHA.

Till then. Must sleep early! BYE.

Each-A-Cup

The ever so famous bubble tea is finally here in town!

Ok I so stupidly accidentally deletd the photo of the stall with logo.

Finished a quarter in less than minute. Brain freeze.

Been craving for genuine bubble tea for the longest time ever since the most awesome bubble tea shop in SS 15 closed down. This is the best ever tasted. I personally love just red milk tea without any flavouring. This is not too sweet, not diluted. Just nice!

Btw recall Cool Blog? Freaking kena conn-ed again. I was at Sg. Wang n saw vendors drinking bubble tea. Hence, the craving. This time I decided to give them a chance and ordered yam flavour thinking that it will be better.

Bloody hell in the end just stir powder no gancang nothing and charged me RM 3.50 without 'pearl'. Plus there were still chunks of powder stuck at the bottom. LOUSY!

Till then. My tooth still so painful can die ok.

Restaurant Sumi-Ka

Recall Crayon SinChan's father?

Yup the man in the picture.

The restaurant looks exactly like the kind he goes to after a hard day's work.

Noticed the place was filled with Japs eating and drinking. (taken on a weekday)

You can judge a place by its authenticity by looking at its customers, waiter/waitress and food menu. Okla if possible go check out the chef - most important person.

Its a yakitori bar meaning they only serve grill stuff no normal Jap bento set etc.

Started off with beef appetizer. FREE btw and tasted really nice.

Cabbage with soya suace. Free also.

Burnt rice
The burnt fragrant just make u wanna have it right away! and its cripsy at the top and bottom.

Brinjal super awesome especially with those toppings on top.

Clockwise: chicken neck, chicken soft bone, meatballs and chicken ass.

*note go there with an open mind to try out everything. Its so AWESOME it'll change your perception.

Clockwise : Chicken skin, mushroom, squid and beef tongue. YES Beef TONGUE.

Squid fest! After the Germans lost to the Spanish.

My first beef tongue attempt.

The beef tongue is really nice and seriously nothing gross about. Initially I was abit like YERR beef tongue but after trying one of those I got addicted. Yea its THAT good. Then when I brought my colleagues over, everyone was also really pessimistic bout the beef tongue but after trying it they wanted more and more until they ran out of stock. LOL.

The skewers were really well grilled with sea salt. The price of the skewers were average of RM 3- RM 7.

Pork knuckles. YUMSSS.

Chicken wing its good but nothing special.

Beef on a bone

THIS IS THE BOMB!!! I TELL YOU. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DESCRIBE IT BUT ITS JUST SO DAMN GOOD. The meat just slides off the bone so tender yet taste the texture and the sweetness of it.

Potato also good but nothing special.

Sake light and sweet really soothing.

oops my wai sek colleague but everyone was in a really wai sek mood because the food was really good.

This one not so good very "kang" (strong) din't like the taste at all.

Oh by the way we had loads of edamame too! ITS SO GOOD. Simple dish but can hardly get good ones.

and the bill for the night. Oh CASH transaction only!

Ok la is actually not that expensive. That night just kept ordering as if it was buffet style that's why the bill came to this amount. If you were to eat moderately it would be RM 120 for 4 pax. So its still really reasonable for authentic Japanese food.

Call them before u drop by as the place is usually full house even on weekdays.

Hi Tea at Café Stelle by Raffles

Hi-tea before visit to Urbanscapes.

RM 58 nett for two comes with 2 selection of coffee or tea

A spot designated for your bag. How thoughtful.

The food presentation was really cute. Honestly I was quite disappointed with the portion served.

Starting from the top to the bottom.
Homeade Lemon and Fresh Milk Scone, Refreshing of Vegetables and Avocado Dip

Scones were ok. Not a fan of them. But the avocado dip was awesome.

Dips for the scones L - R : apricot, butter and blueberry

I literally had the blueberry dipping as unhealthy yogurt. LOL.

L - R :Mini Pound Cake with Fruit Compote, Minifudge Brownie, Meringue Kisses

Though they tasted good but it was really just ordinary sweet stuff with beautiful names.

Creme Brulee

This was total yucks. The inside was cold. Its supposed to be baked in the oven. It is so that the coating on top would sink into the entire cup. Instead they used the easy way out that is the fire torch to make the upper part looked burnt.

L- R: Brucetta with Marinated Tomatoes & Golden Pyramid with Smoked Salmon

Musroom Risotto Ball : I seriously wanted to finish the left over gravy. It was just so good! But of coz I din't la.
Smoked Salmon : Can taste the sweet/freshness of the salmon! Onzzz.

Mushroom Risotto Ball

Doesn't quite look like a ball to me but it was so DAMN AWESOME. ok la it tasted like French toast but super crispy version with mayo on top.

Don't think I need to write bout the Egg Sandwich. HAHAHAHA.

Tea!

Harmutty SFTGFOPI, Creme Caramel

Honestly, I din't know and still don't know how to pronounce the name of the first tea. But then hor don't bother ordering it because it tasted exactly like Lipton but I just din't want to admit it at that time because I was blinded by the ambiance and packaging. wtf.

I really liked the Creme Caramel though tasted like Creme Brulee but not sweet with that yummy smell and flavour which linger in your tongue.

Nice ambiance with really good service too!

So nice that I can fall asleep here!
White & gold theme somemore. My favourite. Keekkeke.

Splendid experience! But I personally prefer Shangri-la. Same price more variety and bigger portion.
