Visit to D' House

My company organized a trip for a couple of us to visit D'House, DiGi company on Tuesday.

The lobby entrance. Very open space concept everything transparent.

Meeting room.

Would you like to hold a meeting here with this kinda view?

The concept of the building is to maximize natural lighting by having glass walls. Moreover, they also mentioned that the air condition is adjusted to a practical temperature. Meaning? If one adjusts the temperature 2°C lower, then one would have to wear one more layer of clothing.

Ample discussion area.

Concierge area.

The minute the glass door was pushed open, super nice aroma of pastry and I had butterflies in my stomach. Here, its a support centre for the staff. Besides the obvious cafe area and normal errands such as IT support and visa application, services such as booking movie tickets, calling a cab and paying DiGi bill is available here.  How awesome is that?!

Merchandise room.
Nothing impressive but look at the wordings on the merchandise! hehe.

Since almost everywhere is transparent, hence, they made the signage to be related to the tagline.
Time to change and Simplicity.

Venue for talks and seminars

And now may I present you to my favourite area.

This is their cubicle!

Everyone employee from upper management to execs are given the same laptop of the same brand and same model. When they come to work they'll sit wherever they want to in the designated glass room for respective department. By the end of the day, they will pack all of their stuff and leave. We were told that if whoever who leaves anything behind would be thrown away. HAHHAHAHA. Reminds me of my uni library. Good ol' days.

They call these - zen areas for discussion

Call centre

The people seated on top are the ones controlling the call traffic.

All employees of the company would have to spend a night at this area and be the front line men. This is so that they would be able to understand the needs of the customer and come out with innovative ideas to improve and enhance the products or services.

Even the walkways is so artsy fartsy.

Staircase by Art Attack and children.

Big stomach guy. KAKAKKAKA.

Shaded parking lot only for those who meet one of the following criteria. If you're

1. Pregnant
2. Disabled
3. Car pool to work
4. Using a Hybrid car

The rest would have to park their cars outdoor. AWESOME. and they implement this throughout the company. Equality remember?

They even name the meeting rooms according to holiday destinations.

Indoor court

The place can be converted into a basketball court and badminton court per request. Early this year, the CEO noticed that the employees were really stressed out. He decided to reward them by ensuring all employees get to go for spa for 3 hours. Best part? Instead of the employees going for spa, they converted this area to a spa!!!

Place to reload your tummy

Overlooking this view

Noticed almost every corner outdoor is filled with green

A very good way to decrease temperature

They also place their tagline everywhere.

and us. HAHAHHAHA

DiGi's concept is to have employees to be innovative and get their creative juice working. Hence, the casual work environment would remove the unnecessary obligations of employees and have them focus only on their job task.

Seems like a splendid place for Gen Y eh?

I think I'm loosing the flow again not only this post but since the previous few posts.

Till then. Getting tired easily these days.
