Landmarks in Macau

OOO wedding!!! In our hotel.

Macau is filled with hotels and casinos.

Apparently the exterior is covered with genuine gold. Notice the structure of entrance? Its like swords for Geomancy purposes. The Chinese believe that they wanna "tong" (chop) every customer before entering the casino.

Old wing of Grand Lisboa by day & night
Classic. So TVB drama like.

This is Emperor Hotel.

If u wanna get to the immigration place from Macau to Zhu Hai, China u can get a FREE shuttle bus from here. Go into the casino, 4th floor and get a bus ticket and u're all set to go.

The lobby is filled with genuine gold & diamonds!!!!!  SUPER BLING and REAL BLING SOMEMORE.

One thing I notice bout Macau is that though with all the new developments, the country still preserve historical landmarks really well. They were colonized by the Portuguese hence there are many Portuguese like buildings all over the place besides hotel and casino. Its not bout having them but maintaining them! Super respect! Besides, the place is really clean like Singapore. I love their parks too!!! Sorry no photos of the above mentioned.

One of the bridge which link the main island to the other islands.

There are people who chill by the sea just chatting and drinking such a pretty sight. Mind u its not like in M'sia where mat rempits sit by the longkang n disturb girls ok.

Then we headed to Wynn, yup u got it right another hotel and casino.

We were greeted by the musical fountain it was so beautiful like ballerinas dancing to the music.

Wynn's grand lobby.

I don't usually do this but I can't resist! The toilet was so damn beautiful too!!!

This ceiling of The tree of Prosperity.

And the ceiling opens...

Meanwhile...

from the ground

There!!! The Tree of Prosperity!!!!

Quite pretty hor. The money tree la I mean.

Clever way of getting extra loose change. HAHHAHA.

Outside Wynn.

Oh just in case u noticed, I finally managed to get rid that pair of ugly slippers. That's because I went over to Zhu Hai & bought 5 pairs of new footwear for only RM 120 IN TOTAL!!!! Will blog bout them soon. *fingers crossed

This is the other part of Wynn, Encore Tower Another beautiful sight.

Ok la I know the entrance doesn't look as grand as it seems the reason its because the is the ONLY photo I have with fatty monkey on the 3rd day. I realized we only have 3 photos of us together.

I figure I was either busy eating or shopping. *shifty eyes

Anyhow MGM looks like this.
*photo taken from Google images

The owner of MGM is Stanley Ho, tycoon of Macau casinos' daughter.
Pansy Ho (left) Stanley Ho and his wife Angela Leong (Right)

U might have seen this lady appeared in couple of Kung Fu Mahjong like Cantonese movies. MGM is also connected to Mandarin Oriental.

No connecting place from MGM to Mandarin Oriental.

In Macau, hotels and casinos are everywhere. These places are also well equipped with Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada, Dior you name it. The shops are separated 10 steps away or something like one might win money from the casino and run off to the shops to buy goodies. wtf.

Then after all the casino and sight seeing we headed to D2 been really curious of the locals' nightlife in Macau. Apparently, with so many casinos around, the Macau citizens seldom gamble.

Club with under the sea theme

The music was pretty good! House music love it!

Got girls dancing somemore.

Btw the real party starts at 1 a.m. if u go at 12 a.m. is like entering Zouk at 11 p.m. -__-

Met some really nice "locals" too.
They're actually from the Philippines been working in Macau for 15 years.
