Vicious Cycle

As mentioned earlier I was having fever than I lost my voice for a week. Finished the antibiotics course but I still din't have my voice. Then everyone just told me I was "heaty" and started boiling me all sorts of 'leong cha' (herbal tea) to bring down the heat. 

Yesterday, I went for GAB tour with a sore throat and husky voice. By the end of the day, we were served with drinks. Since beer is also what they call 'gui lou leong cha' (Western kinda herbal tea) I happily ordered Heineken Extra Cold somemore and gulp down the whole mug. I was feeling better that night. The swell in my throat was gone. YAY1

Then this morning I woke up with flu and cough. FML. Went to the doctor's again...

Doctor : Oh this is overcorrection! You're too 'leong' already!

Me: But I was having sore throat and couldn't speak for a whole week!

Doctor : That's bacteria in your throat Told you not to speak for that TWO days. You must've talked a lot that's why you couldn't speak for 1 week.

Me : Oh yea hor. I forgot. -____________-

Haih. When will I get to yell and laugh at people again? wtf.

Peer Pressure

Watched Alice in Wonderland courtesy of GSC Mid Valley.

Pretty good I must say more like a sequel of the cartoon but wonderland kinda looked disappointing? One ought to watch/ remember the original Alice in Wonderland cartoon in order to understand the show.

Ok serious matter.

Today, I've learnt the meaning of peer pressure.

Birthday Night

Just photos of the birthday night. Fever hit me during the wee hours of Saturday. I lost my voice since Monday till now. FML. I can't speak, what more sing, yell, laugh! Life is miserable. URGH!

ISHIN Japanese Dining

New Japanese Restaurant in town. Shitty photos all taken with the blackberry.

Its a stand alone building more like a house along Old Klang nice and cozy environment but the food sucked. Big time. 

Free appetizer- some tuna and cucumber. 

It was so damn yucky that I only had one bite and pushed it away. The tuna had some really weird taste and smell. Like it was going to make me sick.

Salmon Sashimi

Guess how much is this? RM 25.00 for freaking 5 pieces. And it had that fishy smell somemore. YUCKS. I had to use wasabi and soya sauce to literally cover the smell and forcefully eat it. wtf. I love sashimi and I love having them without anything because they taste so sweet and fresh but this. My gosh.

Excuse the lousy photo. The roll was pretty good except that they were damn stingy with the soft shell crab. Just one freaking pathetic short and skinny soft shell crab in a RM 10.00 roll. Fark!

Another overpriced average quality dish.

Teppanyaki Beef Course

The garlic fried rice was good. Fruits also not bad since they give dragon fruit. But the beef was very disappointing. It tasted like some fried batter beef with vegetables which I could get from Maju Junction food court done by some Bangladeshi worker. Somemore he can fry in style for only RM 9.90 comes in a set with rice and soup! I kid you not. And this freakin ass dish cost RM 38.00 just because of the dragon fruit is it?!

And behold...

Cold soba noodles.

The most disappointing dish for the night.This is my all time favourite in Kinpachi but let me tell you what's so shitty bout it here. 

1. The sauce no OMPH. It tasted like some ordinary cold soya sauce even after the i stirred it with quil egg and loads of wasabi.

2. The noodles were just some ordinary frozen noodles even Isetan noodles would've tasted better.

3. It cost RM 22.00 just like that without anything. You know Kinpachi they serve with Tempura and its only RM 18.00 and it taste more authentic and everything is better quality. URGH.

What a shame! Mr. Chee said he flushed RM 124.30 to the drain. HAHAHAHAHA. 

If you wanna spend your money on some shitty, pirated Jap food like Tenji, Sushi King, Sakae Sushi.. this  would be the PERFECT place.

WIP

Lunch at WIP quite sometime ago.

Pretty wide variety of food. From Asian, Indian to Western. Plus they were all good except for one.

Nasi Lemak

Smoked salmon caesar salad my all time favourite. 

Can't recall Indian food. Very big portion and was very good!

Beef Espetada for two.

The dish cost approx RM 80. Comes with potatoes and vegetable. Taste like normal bbq beef or nothing special. Total waste of money.

Just that it looked very glamorous because they get the whole freaking thing out infront of you that's all.

See good food makes people happy.

They make me smile.

On a side note,  I was searching high and low for a decent short necklace just as I found the one. I was happily wearing it for only 2-3 weeks. Then on a certain day as I was getting ready to headout then I realized I couldn't find the necklace until today. FML.

I've known them for a decade and am glad I still do.

Till then. Can't wait till Thursday!
