Not That Sui

Last week I was preparing my slides for the presentation for the evening. Then came lunch time and I told my colleagues to that I'll meet them wherever they will be.

1.05 p.m. one more sentence to go! I happily texted Zijin that I'll be on my way.

Satisfied with my work, I clicked "save". Then a window popped out. "File cannot be corrected. Click save and restart powerpoint." WTF?! I'm trying to save here and you tell me this???!!! How can I save??!!

Then my other colleagues came to my rescue. Everyone tried their tactics apparently its a common error. FOL. But none of them work! FML.

My only solution was to print screen ALL the slides and re-type.

By then it was 1.45 p.m. *cries*

Thank goodness I have wonderful colleagues.

Zijin tapao-ed yummy nasi lemak + teh tarik for me. T______T

The nasi lemak tasted like the yummy RM 1 nasi lemak you get by the roadside. One of my ultimate favourites but with curry chicken of course. The tea = bliss. It was that time of the month and I was aching, crying in pain almost everyday. According to Zijin, apparently the guy "tarik-ed" the tea so it was freshly made. No wonder it tasted so good.

By the way, Toast Box is having lunch promotion now! Food + drink = RM 7.90

Unlike that Pancake House set lunch approx RM 17++ wtf!!! I rather have Kenny Rogers

Then when I waned to pay her for the lunch,

Zijin : Its ok. I belanja u.

Me : EHHH. Don't la. I feel bad.

Zijin : Yea I want u to feel bad for the rest of your life.

-___________-

Then on certain days, she'll just say to me, " Can I beat u up?" Me, "Ok. Come let's fight!" HAHAHAHAHA. damn sohai. But then the next minute I'll ask her some work related nonsense and she'll help me whole heartedly.

Though shitty things often happen to me but I'm always surrounded by really good people.

Till then. Thank you every buddy!

Bimbo

Definition of a bimbo -
1. an attractive but empty headed young woman.
2. a fellow; person esp a foolish one.

in other words, one who judge or tend to look at things on surface without thinking.

Today, I learnt that there's a new group whom we can relate as bimbos.

ONLINE SHOPPERS!

Look at images posted in the site - judge base on surface.
Read and believe whatever that is displayed before them - judge base on surface as well.

My gosh I'm a bimbo!

Till then. More bimbo time!

Lafite

Long overdue post. This is where Mr. Chee brought me on my birthday.

We took the showcase lunch as I was feeling greedy. HAHHAHA.

Basically the show case is like a semi-buffet. The appetizer buffet style, whilst you choose a dish for main course and a fixed dessert.

And of course the traditional bread before meal - warm and comforting.

The appetizers.

Shrimp! YUMssss.

Overall the appetizers were good except for the mushrooms tasted a lil weird though. They serve strawberries too! But some kia su aunty went Asian style. She took almost everything from the box at one go. -___-

I love this this.

See the lil "egg yoke" Its lemon tea and the bubble is suppose to pop in your mouth when you drink it. Purpose is to clean you palate.

Coli-flower soup! Small, sweet and yummy!

Complimentary pasta from the chef because its my day!

If not mistaken this should be Grano. Ok I just discovered 100 new pasta terms. wtf. *click*

Melt in your Mouth Lamb Shank.

The name of the dish does describe it well. Perhaps we were too ambitious greedy earlier, along with the unexpected pasta I was full when the main dish came. What a pity. Nevertheless, It tasted really good! The sensational smell of lamb was so enticing that I kept telling myself come on "you can do it" and finished almost everything. wtf.

63°C Wagyu Beef

Slow cooked 48 hours beef at cooked 63°C. Well marinated medium rare tender meat. This happened quite sometime ago but you should just go try it!

Desserts - 5 sample size desserts.

The chocolate mousse was rather normal, My favourite was of course the starwaberry with whipped cream. The sorbet was very refreshing! But the cookie right smack in the middle was very hard that it almost broke my teeth. Needless to say I hated it.

This might be rather common but the whipped cream was really good along with the caramel. How I wish I can have some right now.

The real dessert. lol.

Ok no photos of my a bit too happy face because I looked like an idiot.

SOS

Twas' preparing to do the Lafite post but then my laptop hang. Then u look at the time woah! Got to put it aside again. sigh. As for now anyone seen this bag?!!!

I saw this in white!!!

Selling at some bazzar but they were selling it for RM 78. Think its a bit too pricey cause I've seen this person selling other bags  that is exactly the same from other blogshops at half the price. zzz. I'm looking for white!

*
So far I've been quite successful with the no shopping thing. *fingers cross* You see I've been spending most of my energy these days e-shopping e-window shopping and the thing bout e-shopping is it allows me to compare prices and as kept comparing, comparing and comparing and I think I wanna get it. Then I get sick looking at it. HAHAHAHAH.

And... you need to communicate with the blopshop owner through e-mail and usually a transaction would require a couple of e-mails being exchange then only you get the deal done. Hence, its not so impulse which makes you think twice or longer before purchasing something. YAY. No yucky peas for me!

Till then. Everybody dancing in the moonlight!

Mexican Food Post!!!

On a certain day, when I was "about" to recover I was super craving for Mexican food. So I pretended to be well and convinced Mr. Chee for Mexican. *shifty eyes* HAHAHHAHA.

My favourite Mexican place.

Complimentary nachos.
Ok la I took it this way so that it looks more because the that monster ate most of it before I could take the photo. zzzz.

Poppers

with melted cheese and jalapeƱo.

Its so good that I can literally recall the yummy taste while writing this post. After biting the crunchy skin, the cheese just melt into your mouth along with the forgettable spicy chili. You know like the delicious kind of spicy not the just blah plain yucky spicy.

Beef Fajitas

By just smelling it, one can tell its delicious! It was Mr. Chee's first visit and of course I have to make him try my favourite dish. His reaction was, "Wow bee, Chilli's cannot be compared to this! This is the best Fajitas I ever had!" Explains it all.

Burritos

The sauce is much better than Frontera, there is more cheese, the beef is more flavourful and it isn't soggy at all! (According to Mr. Chee because I din't like the onions.) The rice is more flavourful unlike those plain yucky Mexican rice.

Mexican Chili Chicken Soup

Tasted like some sort Tom Yam soup but less sour, spicy and sweeter.
Perfect soup on a rainy day.

How can one not have faith in it? hehe.
