Rest Day

How was your holiday? Mine was great! (Sorry for those of you who are not working in Selangor. I truly understand your feeling since I used to work in KL.)

Spent a quiet night on the eve with white wine + meatball + princess tart + comedy + a loved one = bliss.

Perfect combo.

How thoughtful of him to get a new container and celan with hot water somemore since Ikea doesn't provide take away containers.

I wanted to stay home since work has been so hectic. Mr. Chee decided to surprise me with Ikea meatballs and Princess tart. FYI I don't eat meatballs at all but I go crazy over Ikea's. They're just so damn good. Poor boy was caught in the traffic for hours just to get my meatballs. *sayang*

Headed over to Tropicana City Mall to watch Princess and the Frog with Kat + Bryan. Stupid movie. Don't ever watch it! Another disappointment. Here's the deal. I'm a big fan of Walt Disney. I've watched movies like Enchanted a gazillion billion times till I can sing the songs by heart. Walt Disney movies are filled with such magical/fairy tale kinda feeling + the music is just so....

But THIS! NO WALT DISNEY feel at all!

Went to Bad Ass before the movie.

In sequence from the first to fourth drink. 

1. 100% Kana. Bad Ass' freshly brewed coffee. Very blunt. The smell the refreshing scent of coffee. Plus it taste like water + coffee left out brewed after quite some time and they just warm it up. 

2. Iced Haolen Menebune (White Choc + Rasberry)

Tasted so so. Not very impressive either. I thought it was ok because it was the best decent taste among the four. The drink still tasted a lil weird. Very strong bitter yucky coffee taste but yet it has this extremely sweet artificial syrup scent. 

3. Iced Jitter Juice (Dark Choc + Irish Cream)

Super yucks. Tasted more like antibiotic but I wonder how did Bryan managed to finish it.

4. Monkey Mocha (Dark Choc + Banana)

Also another antibiotic drink.

Frozen Coffee cubes but the drinks are still yucky.

Mr. Chee : Bee look! Its your shadow!

zzzzz. Why is my boyfriend always like that.

Aiyo my hand is very the itchy wei. I can't resist myself from shopping anymore.

Random shits

Why is everyone talking bout New Moon? Hate the movie. Wonder why Stephanie allowed her books to be produced into the movie this way. Sucks big time. 

I finished all four books before Twilight was released in the cinemas. Boy the books were so good and addictive that I finished all four in merely less than a week? I was so excited to watch Twilight when it was on the big screen. But it failed me BIG TIME. 

Not only the actors were like shit I still don't understand why everyone is like " Oh Edward Cullen this Edward Cullen that." In the first place he's not even supposed to look like an idiot swinging from tree to tree like Bollywood wannabe. URGH. Plus the plot SUCKED even more. Everything wasn't in sequence and the missed out so much. I know movies aren't usually as good as the books. But still! This was overly lousily modified. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!

That aside. Its that time of the year again!

To Go Grande Low Fat Toffee Nut Latte with loads of sprinklessssss

One of my FAVOURITE! Used to keep my company during uni days when I had to cramp for finals. I remember my store manager used to say to me, "want low fat but with whipped cream." zzzzzz. Yea I'm just like that wanna jaga badan but cannot resisit temptation. So I'll answer him, "Oh everything must be balanced maaaaa."

With 2 shots of espresso, 4 pumps of toffee nut latte, steamed low fat milk, whipped cream and loads and loads of sprinkles! Its just so damn freakin' awesome. The sprinkles is like the cherry on top of the ice- cream. Without the sprinkles the drink will be incomplete. Perfect amount of shot to keep u awake + not too bitter and not too sweet. Drink on a rainny day! Enough said.

Speaking of cravings

Yomokun Green Tea ice-cream.

Saw the crowd and decided to kepoh also. Its ok la. Very artificial green tea taste and a lil too sweet. Besides the texture wasn't smooth either. I've tasted better ones from Kinpachi.

oooo... Someone forgot his/her ice-cream. 

Ok enough of nonsense. Tmr is THURSDAY! YAY YAY YAY! but I can foresee that I'm gonna stay till very late again becuase Friday holiday. zzzzz.

Tea in Wonderland

Hello every buddy. Let me tell u something. I left office at 9.30 p.m. and today is my THIRD freaking day of work. huhuhuhu...

That aside. Happy stuff! I really need all these to keep me going.

So Alice in Wonderland.

So pretty I din't want to touch them. Aiya besides I like my tea to be plain.

Perfect afternoon - Christmas tea set.

First tier.

Mainly consists of savories. Mushroom pie, Salmon with bread, bacon with er can't remember and scallop sushi I think. They were just simply DeLicious!!!!

And that was my expression.

Second tier.

Grained bread, fruit cake, forgot its name and berries! I'm not a big fan of fruit cake so can't comment on that but the berries were so awesome I finished them all by myself. *shifty eyes* 

Thin flour wrapping filled with choc along with with cherries. 

Very very good combination I must say.

Fruit cake. Loved the almonds tough. hehe.

Third tier.

Custard and walnut cake. Custard was rather common. but then again it was just perfect for me. Not too sweet. Walnut cake so just simply too good to be described. You got to try it yourself.

There's still more.

The Christmas platter filled with plain scones and Christmas cookie. I love this season best!

The soothing ambiance.

But above all

The perfect tea partner who can talk bout anything and everytinng under the sun.

Super FML I finished the post ytd. But the connection went down just before posting it. URGH. oh oh oh but then I left work at 6 p.m. today on the dot because i sneaked out when boss was busy. *shifty eyes* Just when i was bout to successfully step outta office I realized I left my mobile in my coat on my workdesk. T_____T

I had to ask the kakak (tea lady) to hold my bag and umbrella, then quietly sneak back to my desk and take my mobile. wtf. Like thief only. Oh whatever it is I'm free NOW. well only for tonight. 

Till then. I need a retreat!

Think I'm not quite ready to hit the workforce yet. Twas dreading the night before. Even when I let out a loud and long sigh without saying anything Mr. Chee said, " Relax. Just go and have fun tmr." Guess its so obvious till he could sense the negativity without a word spoken.

In conjunction to bidding farewell to my freedom along with the past few days of being sick. We went to feast. What a great excuse. HAH. Plus it was really random as we were both starving and could gobble almost everything.

Lunch + tea + dinner in Delicious. We were there for so long till we had 3 meals. wtf.

Honey + biscoti. yummmms.

Sirloin Steak Sandwich.

It was really good. The toast was splendid and the steak - AWESOME. We both wanted the Seriously Delicious Cheeburger but Mr. Chee forced me take another burger/ sandwich. wjoqbfurehibfye! But this was definitely better than the cheeseburger!

No more food photos because we were so hungry we gobbled up everything like cookie monster. wtf. Oh how I miss that moment when we were still sitting and laughing in Delicious...

First day of work. Brainstorm brainstorm brainstorm. Finish at 7.30 p.m. Walked under the rain to the car. Car tyre punctured. Drive home with punctured tyre. Heavy traffic. Mr. Chee is sick thanks to my virus. :(
