Bangkok Day 3

Started the day off with..

Coke Slurpeeeeeee.

Because he cannot stand seeing me enjoying it by myself. tsk tsk.

Okla. I actually saw this Slurpee competition in Nuffnang. Then I thought of participating but then when I got back to M'sia damn it was too late. So yea.

Then we had nasi bryani at Swensons. Hahas.

It was just a coffee shop using Swensons' tables and chairs. No idea why.

Nasi bryani. onzzz.
Best part? Not oily but still so tasty. If only I could ta pau it home.

Radish soup. They call it fuck in Thai. HAHAHAHA. seriously.

There's an ATM machine behind us. An ATM mahcine in the coffee shop. LOL.

Me walking up the stairs. Mr. Chee must've found this a rare occasion and hence the photo. FML.

Waiting for the train to Chatuchak market. Yay yay yay!

Forgot to ask Benz what was that funny looking building.

Look at the amount of buses and taxis.

And we arrived at the park of Chatuchak owh lady!!!!

Chatuchak is a weekend market which sells everything and everything! From clothes, shoes, accessories , home deco, pets, books, DOM DOM bag (click!) and the list goes on. The thing is the market is pretty commercialized hence, its more pricey compared to other markets.

More on t- shirts also but with nicer designs. Some designs could be found in Sampan Put but more expensive. However, they do sell very nice t – shirts of Spongebob, Simpsons, South Park and Happy Tree Friends which I could not find anywhere else.

Bought 'ping tiao' super soothing on a hot hot day.

Bought a pink hat and bump into Jack Sparrow. hehe.

Coffee is my love.

She even had a Verismo, espresso machine at the lil stall! Too bad she was using Robusta beans so it spoiled everything.

They had books too! Tonnes & tonnes of them! I almost went nuts then I realize there were in Thai. disappointed.com

As we were walking, could smell the sweet aroma of..

Woah! Chicken noodle soup. Slurrrrrrrrrrrp!

The soup taste like Bak Kut Teh but sweeter. Chicken was really tender.

BBQ sausage and beef ball. The BBQ sauce was just splendid!

Wahai kawan-kawan kita sama gang ini. Kekekeke.

Went home to kacau Benz's porcupine.

After dinner at Grand Central, I just had to try my luck on this! nyeheheehe.

See the lil kid also damn curious to find out. lol.

Tadaa! Spiderman keychain!

Spider pig. Spider pig. Do whatever a Spider pig does. Can he swing? No he can't. Why can't he? He's a pig. Watch out... for spider pig! Then everyone started to look at me and all Mr. Chee said was, "Ignore her. She's always like that. High on drugs." -________-

Seeing that I was so hyper wtf. Mr. Chee decided to buy me a real keychain.

Because he's my monkey!

Lookie lookie! The heart can pop out (because he like to do popping wtf) and bling with red light. Hehe.

Lily saw this and kept bugging me to give it to her. She went to the extend of begging me to sell it to her. wtf. She said she doesn't mind paying it for RM 20 (original price 169 baht). Whatever it is Its priceless now coz its from the big monkey.

Ok. Imma very ze tired.

Till then. Bye bye for now.

Universal Free Photo Booth

I'm telling your mother! HAHAHHAHA.

Till then. Are sacrifices worth making? Because I'm beginning to loose faith.

Bangkok Day 2

Haro think its bout time for me to chop chop get going with the pending postssssss.

The Thai version of BN. just kidding. *Chinese slang*

We arrive at Siam Paragon owh lady!!!

Siam Paragon is like Malaysia's KLCC but of course the missing element is people sitting by the fountain. So its much classier, cleaner and nicer to look at.

Mr. Chee trying to prove his point that the decorated fruits weren't plastic but edible. Haiyo so kiasu la he.

Food court very nicely arranged where every stall has its on sitting.

This is so convenient for shoppers.

In conjunction of the Vegetarian Festival, many stalls selling local vegetarian cuisine were set up too.

Besides, almost 80% of the food stalls were selling Japanese food.

And we chose to have Japanese curry for lunch.

See so nice can choose the amount of rice. Very good for me since I can't finish my meal most of the time.

With 50 baht you get a drink + salad. Drinks = apple, orange juice, tea, etc. Salad is really sweet and fresh vege with unlike some restaurants they simply throw a few pieces of lettuce call it salad. wtf.

Fried Chicken with Curry Vege.

Fried chicken was really crispy + not oily. Curry was so so. Maybe because I prefer authentic spicy-ness. The curry has the curry powder kinda taste. That's Jap curry supposed to taste like.

Omelette Curry with Mushroom Cream

Combination of curry + cream cheese = awesomesss. If you're starving  this will be the perfect dish coz its super filling but then again maybe because I'm small. wtf.

And I tasted the best bottled green tea every. *shiny eyes*

It has really strong tea smell along with the authentic tea flavour. Wasn't artificially sweet either.

The background was really nice too bad din't get a shot of it. This is the closest I have.

Oh look illy coffee

Hot Mocha = comfort drink.

Coffee was good but too bad they were using th Verismo instead of the La Mazocoo. Or the espresso shot would've tasted better.

Inside Paragon.

Entrance of Paragon. Though it carries high end brands, great place to buy inner wears super cheap from lingerie to stockings.

Spotted pretty chocolates when we were on the way to MBK!

Had traditional Thai steamboat for dinner along with...

THIS! Just kidding. *chinese slang again. wtf*

Stupid annoying cat. Kept trying to act like Puss from Shrek. I don't like cats thank you very much. This goes back to when I was a college kid. Went to some coffee shop to have lunch. There was a cat next to me and I was pointing at the cat telling my friends there was a cat. Then that idiot literally jump up and bit my finger. Fark! Kat, other half should remember such an unfortunate incident of mine. hahahaha. FML.

Black Pepper Duck.

The gravy was really thick with its spices and pepper. Very strong aroma. Too strong that I din't like it but Mr. Chee was enjoying every bit of it.

Roast Pork. One word - ONZzzzzzzzz..

Flavouring just nice. Spices just nice. Cucumber on the side too cool down just in case you had too much.

Fried fish with Fish Dressing. wtf.

Me no likey this dish. yucks yucks coz it has the very fishy smell. You know that kinda funny stinging smell. But then again it depends on personal preference coz I was the only one on the table who had the first and last bite.

Sticky rice. Nothing special just that the rice is sticky and tasteless.

Then we went to Sampan Put for more shopping. Wooohoo. It is a night market where they sell women & men's clothing, bags, shoes, accessories, rabbits, food, you name it! However the clothes here are not as fashionable as Platinum Mall. More on t-shirts. We were only there for an hour and it started to pour. ROOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR.
