RM 10 k Supper

Had supper in Sri Melur and it came out to this!

Then some uncle who there too for the bill excalimed, "WAH! You paid RM 10 k +??? So now he has to give u the change of RM 10 88.40." lol.

I'm starting to feel better now since the couple of sleepless nights. Am very grateful to have you by my side.

One may have many friends and relatives but how many people turn up for the funeral generally depends on the weather from some movie I can't recall. But I think this is so wrong. For the past few days, I have witnessed the crowd who turned up for a man whom I will always respect and miss so dearly despite of the heavy down pour.

Till then. Treat others like how you want them to treat you.

The other day, after a nice dinner I was longing for a warm bath on the way home. I went up to my room just to discover my room light wasn't working. Then I thought I could use to washroom instead to remove my make up. When I walked to my washroom, the light wasn't working either. Everyone was asleep so I could not use their washrooms either. FYI all the lights in the house were functioning very well except for my room's and washroom. FML. 

The next day I told Lily bout my unfortunate incident.

Lily : Oh!!! The toilet light wasn't working the night before ytd. Just that you used it before me and papa was already asleep when it happened. Then I forgot bout it. And ytd when I used the toilet papa went out yam cha so I forgot to tell him again. huh huh huh.

Today I went to bed at 4 a.m.due to certain reasons. I was awaken by tummy ache at 6 ish 7 a.m. At 8 a.m. I finally could sleep soundly. At 9.30 a.m. Mr. Chee texted me. At 10 a.m. Mr. Chee called me. At 10.30 am.m. my former boss called me. At 11.00 a.m. my dad called me. At 11.30 a.m. my mom called me. At 11.45 a.m. I was awaken by a LOUD bang! I don't know whatever that was but that just frightened me and I'm seriously awake but like a zombie now. Urgh. Double FML.

Rootz Club

The last time I visited a club was in Bangkok. All I did was sipped Red Label the whole night long. If I don't take Bangkok into account I would consider the last time visited a club was prolly in July?

Twas' in Velvet, my favourite. But the thing is I lost that "happy feeling". The one before Zouk was renovated and Mambo Jambo was only on Wednesdays. The one that could just make me smile for no friggin reason and motivate me to continue with my work at 5 a.m. I used to complete my assignments and revision after Mambo Jambo. Twas' like a boost for me as ridicule as it might sound.

I was just so damn freaking certain that maybe I've moved on to the next stage in life. That clubbing isn't my thing anymore and I would just rather chill. Not until I visited Rootz. 

The next thing I know I was as happy how Mambo Jambo used to be. That happy meter just came back and went shooting sky high.

See? I'm so happy till you can see my fat neck. wtf.

Did I mention bout the crowd? Its the kinda crowd you'll love. Unlike the mat rempit nor cina ah beng kind. Neither is the club filled with kids like Maison or Poppy. Zouk is starting to turn into one of those clubs too. tsk tsk. The crowd was rather sporting. See for yourself. They were so dressed up for Halloween. (click!)

So when one makes new friends one has to drink as a form of respect.

He initially just drank Coke and only Coke. But Mr. Chee, me and a whole lot of others just made him drink and drink and drink till he became like that. nyehehehhehe. We are so evil friendly. wtf.

Teeq Brasserie

A short food review. 

Lot 10 is now revamped! The rooftop looks fabulous! May be some old news since I'm such a procrastinator. tsk tsk. Anyway its a very nice place. Great environment I must say.

Very clean kitchen.

Had some light snacks since we had dinner.

Complimentary bread.

Nothing much to talk bout but the dipping sauce was ONZZZZ. Something like the nachos dipping sauce served in Chillies but better.

Rosemary fries.

Nothing special bout it. Just that it has Rosemary on top of the fries wtf.

Something which can never go wrong. Caesar Salad.

Dressing s very smooth yet isn't too thick along with the usual lettuce, baby tomatoes and garlic bread. What differentiates it is the fried shrimp on the side which isn't too oily yet crispy and also sunflower seeds.

Confit Honey Glazed Duck accompanied with Rissotto.

Very aromatic I must say but the taste was rather disappointing. You know how you always smell something really mouth watering but when you taste it its another story? The rissotto's flavouring was a lil too much. When you have too much of something that it becomes sick that kinda feeling. Overall the dish is average. I have tasted better ones.

Serious Chocolate Brownies.

This was the BOMB! They sure took it seriously. I'm a person who lovesssss desserts but am not easily pleased. The chocolate literally melts in your mouth. To top it up its accompanied with caramel and..

See for yourselves people!

Overall Teeq would be a nice place to chill or warm up before you wanna head over to the club next door. However, dining wise I would just say it is merely average. Nevertheless, If you're looking for somewhere to have dessert and champagne or wine. This is the place to be!

I Have A Date With Spring

Its been close to two weeks and am still overwhelmed by it. The musical was just too damn good. It brought so much memories, familiar tunes, laughter and tears ok la close to tears I don't cry so easily I'm barbarian wtf. 

Twas's held in KLPac. Very very nice environment! okla I'm a KLPac virgin. I've watched many musicals but they were held in Istana Budaya. On a random note I really miss the Philharmonic Orchestra. No one wanna watch with me because to them its boring and for OLD people. dsjklbchewfufghe!

Oh yea and I super hate it when IDIOTS who clap after every scene/ song. It spoils the mood big time. U only clap when the musical/ play/ orchestra is over. Like really OVER when the casts/players stand before you and bow. That's the cue to clap and stand on your feet if you think they deserve it. Whatever it is  DON'T FUCKING clap during the play. That's plain stupid. 

Back to the happy musical mode. wtf.

Magnificent Fish & Chips Bar.

Butter Fish or something.  Couldn't recall.

It was pretty good. Fish was stuffed with thin layer of flour. The portion of fries was really big. Needless to say couldn't finish my meal. tsk tsk.
